Wine Tasmania is inviting applications for its Spring ’25 National Wine Trade Visitation Program – an all expenses paid trip to explore the best of our island’s wine. Through a partnership with Wine Tasmania, Sommeliers Australia is delighted to offer an exclusive opportunity for one of its members to take part in Wine Tasmania’s national trade visitation program in October 2025.
Applications from members will be shared with Sommeliers Australia to confirm its representative, and the selected participant will have the chance to host a post-visit masterclass in their home state in collaboration with Sommeliers Australia. Open to wine buyers right across Australia, this opportunity includes;
• Return flights from your nearest capital city airport.
• Accommodation and all transport in Tasmania.
• A 48 hour itinerary exploring the best of Tasmanian wine (and food, of course).
• Great chats with producers and plenty of fun along the way.
What we need from you;
• Availability to travel from the 5th to the 7th of October 2025 – the official itinerary begins on the 6th, however participants will arrive the afternoon before in time for a welcome dinner.
• A sense of adventure.
• Enthusiasm for exploring the nuances of the (delicious) wine grown on the apple island.
