[VIC] Hanna Johannson DipWSET – Vintage and Vine

Hanna’s career in the wine industry spans over 15 years, from humble beginnings working in bars in Sweden. Once she discovered her passion for wine, there was no turning back. After gaining a degree in hospitality management, Hanna spent a number of years traveling and exploring different wine regions. She has worked in both New Zealand and Italy, spending her time between the vineyard and winery.

Hanna transitioned to Australia right before the covid pandemic, engaging in a position with the team at Scotchman’s Hill in Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula. The offer to manage a new wine bar allowed Hanna to make the move to Melbourne, where she eventually joined the team at Wine House. In 2024, Hanna successfully gained the WSET Diploma in  Wine, and more recently is a recipient of the 2025 Sommelier Australia Educational Scholarship. She is now a sales manager working with Vintage and Vine. Having recently joined the Victorian Sommeliers Australia, Hanna views her position as great opportunity to give back to the wine community, allowing her to continue sharing her passion with other wine lovers.
