[TAS] Mia McIntyre – Joval

Growing up in North Queensland, Mia moved to Brisbane to progress her hospitality career.  Mia has worked across renowned venues including Ecco Bistro, Aria Brisbane, and Blackbird Bar & Grill in both management and in the wine team. Wanting to focus solely on her passion, Mia stepped into the world of fine wine retail when she joined the team at The Wine Emporium.

In 2020, following her desire to move to a wine region, Mia completed a hands-on vintage at Stargazer Wines in Tasmania. In 2022, Mia joined the team at Joval Wines as an Area Business Manager, currently based in Hobart. Mia has recently embarked upon wine show judging, enjoying an associate judge position in the 2025 Tasmanian Wine Show and the Royal Queensland Wine Show.
