Sarah has a wealth of knowledge from both the business and service side of the wine industry. She began her wine career in London in 2000, working largely with on premise venues, drawing from an international portfolio.

Relocating to Melbourne in 2005, Sarah set up her wine distribution business, Selador Wines, as a supporter of family owned and operated wineries. In 2012, this transitioned into a consultancy business, offering wineries assistance with their sales, logistics, marketing, and business strategy. As a Certified Sommelier, Sarah has also been able to offer consultancy services to both on and off premise clients in Melbourne.

Sarah joined Fine Wine Partners in 2016 as the Business Manager for Fine Wine and Education, in which she ran the museum and rare program of wine and delivered the WSET program nationally both internationally and to clients.

The launch of the House of Fine Wines in 2017 presented a new career opportunity, and Sarah became the National On Premise Business Manager for this new wine distribution business. Sarah then stepped onto the Oceania Advisory Board for WSET in 2017, the Advisory Board for Australian Women in Wine Awards, as well as joining the ASI Technical Committee in 2020.

Sarah has worked for WSET for 5 years, recently transitioning from a Business Development Manager role, to now being the Head of APAC Development. Sarah is a WSET Diploma graduate and certified educator in Wine, Spirits, and Beer. She is also a wine show judge, and was a Len Evans Tutorial Scholar in 2018.

Sarah has championed diversity and inclusivity in the wine industry, and is a significant leader and mentor. Sommeliers Australia has been extremely grateful for her 5 year tenure as President, and she now holds a strategic role within the national committee, working closely with corporate members and sponsorships.
