[NSW] Luigi Celiento – Azabu Group
Luigi started in the hospitality industry at the very young ages of 14, working summers whilst still at school in his motherland of Italy. Travelling around Europe, Luigi’s professional career saw him enter into the world 5-star hotels and Michelin-starred venues, climbing the rungs of hospitality, whilst gaining experience in fine wine and dining.
After arriving in Sydney, Luigi engaged work at upmarket venues including Intermezzo, Bistecca, LuMi Dining, and the Love Tilly Group, before he finally settled at Trippas White Group as the precinct sommelier.
Luigi attributes his knowledge and passion for wine and hospitality to his mentors who have taught him so much in the world of fine wines. He hopes to continue as an influential mentor, guiding newcomers to the industry and helping them grow.
Recently, Luigi has assisted with the opening of Sydney venues for the Azabu Group, leading the charge as their beverage director, as well as assisting on the opening of the venues with the Maybe Sammy Group.
