To capture the waning rays of summer, we’re hosting a wine tasting at Builders Arms Hotel in Fitzroy. Tennis racquets have been downed and Christmas cheer has run dry, so replenish your cup with an array of tempting drops that are sure to please.
There’ll be sparkling popping and whites ranging from zesty to more textural and a few blush roses – which capture the hue of summer setting perfectly. For the reds, there’ll be both crunchy and silky medium-bodied styles to sip on as well as some more chewy and robust styles which make you start thinking about the changing of seasons.
Come along and taste over 30 wines in a stand-up informal setting. Nibbles from the Builders Arms crew will accompany the spread. So, gather your friends and make the most of the last days of balmy nights and the freedom they bring.
