This course offers a detailed and comprehensive exploration of the techniques used in sake production, revealing how these methods are skilfully combined to create the diverse and remarkable styles that brewers craft from a simple grain of rice.

  • How to describe and assess the different types of sake.
  • Ingredients used to make sake.
  • Processing the raw materials, from steaming rice and koji, to polishing ratios.
  • A deep dive into how sake is made.
