The Tranche Scholarship supports emerging leaders in the Australian wine and hospitality. Founded by Michael Hill-Smith AM MW and his family, the scholarship of approximately $15,000 AUD helps individuals develop their professional careers by facilitating international and domestic travel opportunities.
Applications should be bright, engaging, enthusiastic and talented individuals with a clear vision for their future. Age is not a barrier, although it is intended for those in the earlier stages of their career.
Selection process:
- Applicants are required to complete the application form, which will include a number of short answer questions about their background, experience, plans for the future and how they would use the funds if successful.
- Applicants are also required to provide at least one reference from within the wine and/or hospitality trade.
- Applications are then reviewed by the Tranche Directors and Advisors and shortlisted.
- Once the shortlist is announced, the finalists are interviewed via Zoom.
Applications will open via the Tranche website from 1st July 2025 AEST and must be submitted by 1st August 2025 AEST.
