Reign? \n  \nThe Sommeliers Australia “Warriors of Wine” Sommeliers Long Lunch is back for 2023\, with the title of “Warrior of Wine” being bestowed by those in the dining arena on Saturday 21 October at Epocha. \nThis year the battlelines have been drawn by three of Melbourne’s most talented\, up-and-coming sommeliers: \nJacob Payseno\, City Wine Shop/The European\nJanan Shareef\, Society\nVictoria Pun\, The Recreation \nThe challenge will be for each “Warrior” to each present three wines to match three courses prepared by the talented team at Epocha. \nAccompanying the three course ‘battle rounds’ will be an aperitif on arrival\, plus a glass of something delicious to enjoy with cheese. In total 11 wines will be served. \nThe winner will be determined by the gathered wine and food lovers of Melbourne\, who will cast votes for their favourite wine matches. \nNot only is this a fantastic opportunity to see three of Melbourne’s sommeliers put through their paces\, but the lunch will also include a fundraising raffle and auction. This year funds raised will go towards facilitating the Sommeliers Australia Best Sommelier of Australia competition in 2024. \nSo\, book yourself a ticket – or book for a group – and watch our three “Warriors” in action as they present their best wine match. \n  \nWHO.
