DESCRIPTION:Wine Tasmania’s is inviting applications for its Spring ’25 National Wine Trade Visitation Program – an all expenses paid trip to explore the best of our island’s wine (with a few other Tassie treats thrown in). \nWhat: Wine Tasmania’s National Trade Visitation Program\nWhen: 5th – 7th October 2025\nWhere: Northern Tasmania \nHow: Apply here \nOpen to wine buyers right across Australia\, this opportunity includes;\n• Return flights from your nearest capital city airport.\n• Accommodation and all transport in Tasmania.\n• A 48 hour itinerary exploring the best of Tasmanian wine (and food\, of course).\n• Great chats with our producers and plenty of fun along the way. \nNEW IN 2025: Through a partnership with Wine Tasmania\, Sommeliers Australia is delighted to offer an exclusive opportunity for one of its members to take part in Wine Tasmania’s national trade visitation program in October 2025. Applications from members will be shared with Sommeliers Australia to confirm its representative\, and the selected participant will have the chance to host a post-visit masterclass in their home state in collaboration with Sommeliers Australia. \nWhat we need from you;\n• Availability to travel from the 5th to the 7th of October 2025 – the official itinerary begins on the 6th\, however we will aim to have participants arrive the afternoon before in time for a welcome dinner.\n• A sense of adventure.\n• Enthusiasm for exploring the nuances of the (delicious) wine grown on our cool little island. \nIf you’re currently working in a senior role with direct responsibility for wine purchasing within a restaurant\, bar\, other on-premise or independent retail wine business then we’d love to hear from you! \nApplications are now open and close on 5th September\, with successful participants to be announced from 10th September 2025.
